About Peachtree Wellness

How Peachtree wellness got its name…

Almost 100 years ago my great grandparents came from Chicago to southwest Michigan to run a peach farm. They purchased some houses from the Sears Roebuck catalog for their home, and for several of their children. They then planted pine trees to outline the plots between each “property.” My grandfather later built an additional stick-built house on the land (you can see the corner and his toolshed in the far distance). Although none of the peach trees remain, the once pine saplings continue to mark “home.” Peachtree is the name of the road that connects the land my family has lived on continuously since we arrived.

Being on this land defines wellness for me. Reconnecting, recharging, being home, being with family. I hope you find your path to wellness at Peachtree Wellness. Taking time to heal from the traumas we have experienced is a journey few are willing to go on. In the future I hope to continue to expand the services we offer to support whole people, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
